MOSAICO CONTINUES TO GROW WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIGH PROFILE XOOM.COM-BANAMEX PARTNERSHIP AND LAUNCH FOR LITTLE HEROES PUBLISHING
Latino Community Outreach Agency anticipates 2010 Census will drive corporate America’s interest in multicultural communications

SAN FRANCISCO – May 12, 2010 – Mosaico, Fineman PR’s Latino and Multicultural Division, was selected by Xoom.com to announce its partnership with Grupo Financiero Banamex, Mexico’s second largest bank and a Citibank subsidiary. The agency was also selected by Little Heroes Publishing to help launch its multilingual personalized books series.

San Francisco-based Xoom.com is a leading internet-based global money transfer company, and Banamex is one of the most respected financial institutions in Mexico. This partnership is of vital importance to Xoom as it seeks to drive awareness of its money transfer services among Mexican consumers, the largest and most profitable market for remittances. Mexican consumers send approximately $20 billion annually back to their homeland.

Mosaico has also begun working with Toronto-based Little Heroes Publishing. The company is a publisher of children’s books that allow parents to create one-of-a-kind personalized books for their children, where both the story and the illustrations include their child as the hero. Mosaico will be launching the company’s collection of multilingual books, being published for the first time in three languages, English, Spanish and French. The launch comes at a time when the demand for bilingual education and language immersion programs continue to rise.1

Mosaico, Fineman PR’s Latino and Multicultural Division, launched in 2008, expects continued growth, as demographic experts believe that the census numbers expected to be released in early 2011 will point to a higher than expected population increase and buying power growth for America’s multicultural communities. Among these groups, Latinos are expected to see the most gains.
