He formed Fineman PR in 1988 and under his direction the agency has grown and expanded steadily, now serving major clients in food, beverage and other consumer packaged goods. He has personally directed groundbreaking campaigns for Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Republic of Tea, Fresh Express Farms and Schlage Lock Company, among many others. Michael is one of the nation’s leading crisis communications counselors and has been recognized for his work in directing high-profile crisis responses for Odwalla, the packaged salad industry and for Pacifica Foundation’s 1999 national news-making reopening of the embattled KPFA radio station in Berkeley, Calif.
