Sequoia Healthcare District
Sequoia Healthcare District is headquartered in Redwood City, California. The District identifies local healthcare needs and collaboratively develops solutions for the San Mateo County communities of Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, Menlo Park, Woodside, Atherton and Portola Valley.

For a number of years, the District was a sponsor of the North Fair Oaks Festival, an annual community fair that raises scholarship funds for local students in the overwhelmingly Latino (65%-80%) Fair Oaks neighborhood of Redwood City, California. In 2007, the agency helped the District make its presence as a sponsor a much larger success. Our multicultural team developed bilingual literature highlighting the District’s programs and services available to the community, including the translation of complicated medical terminology. In addition, the Latino team staffed the event, creating opportunities for positive interaction with the community in a culturally-relevant manner.
